A source of love and joy
Although access to heaven is conditional; His love for you and I is unconditional. John 15:9-17
Humility
Jesus washed the feet of His disciples John 13:3-5
John the Baptist said that Jesus Christ was far greater than himself but yet He submitted to John for His baptism. Matthew 3:11-15.
Of good character
Jesus Christ resists temptation. Matthew 4:8-11
Provides hope
For a range of people including the sick. Matthew 4:23-25, Matthew 8:1-3, Matthew 9:27-30
A peace maker
When you are slapped on one cheek, Jesus Christ advocated turning the other cheek and love your enemies. Matthew 5:38-39 & Matthew 5:43-44
Non judgemental
At risk to Himself He came to the aid of one caught in the act of adultery. John 8:1-11 Jesus spent much of His time with sinners. Matthew 9:11-13
Forgiving
Jesus Christ forgave a large number of people including those who tortured and crucified Him. Luke 23:32-34
Our Saviour
Jesus resurrects Lazarus from the dead, John 11:17-44 and receives a thief crucified with Him into paradise. Luke23:39-43
Jesus Christ is also:
1)Part of the Holy Trinity One God manifested in 3 persons.

2) The son of God

Matthew 16:17-18, Colossians 1:18, Matthew 21:33-45
And so, that is why we love Him.
