Are you ready for judgement day

Are you ready for judgement day

The Lord said to me “Are you ready for My return?”

Are you ready for judgement day

Here is a check list of the things that God expects to find Christian disciples doing when He sends His son to a second time to the earth but this time not to save it but to judge it.
Those who have not clearly excepted salvation by believing and confessing Jesus Christ is Lord over their lives, will by default join Satan in hell eternally. In John 3:16-18, Jesus Christ said this:

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

Tick them off

 Good stewardship of what God entrusted to you

Matthew 24:45-51
A faithful servant is the one who the master finds upon His return taking good care of what was entrusted to him/her.
List those things that God entrusted into your hands. Have you been  diligent and faithful in those things? If not; just try to do better now on. You might want to use a diary to plan and tick them off over the next 12 months and repeat this yearly until our Lord returns.

 Evident that you seek to know God

Matthew 25:1-13 They all went out to find the bride groom but the foolish took no oil. The foolish did not prepare for a long, patient, search. The foolish were not prepared to diligently seek Him for long. Hence there approach never allowed them to develop a close relationship with Him. Indeed God said, through Jesus Christ,              “I do not know you”
Do you consistently fellowship with God’s Holy Spirit?
If not , ask God in prayer for a baptism in the Holy Spirit. See Acts 1:4-5

 Faithfully use your God given talent. Avoid laziness

Matthew 25:14-30 The parable of talent reveals that God expects each of us to:
1) Use our talent/s
2) You should produce a profit from your talent/s. You should be effective.

If you are using your talents and not seeing any results, consistently ask God and seek wise Godly counsel for His wisdom as to what you should do

 Avoid a lawless lifestyle

Hebrew 1:8-9 The foolish have a lifestyle that is lawless compared to the righteous. You must avoid lawlessness.
If your lifestyle is questionable, attempt to make the necessary changes, put additional boundaries in place and avoid temptation.

Make a list of those issues and address them now prayerfully.

 Be a blessing to humanity

Matthew 25:31-46 Righteous people feed the poor, cloth the naked and visit those in prison and visit those in hospital. Deliver people from the prison of the mind and in their circumstance. Else how can you not know that you went to prison?
Members of the Church prayed for the release of the disciple Peter and he was released from prison.

 Be consistently advised by God and not led by emotions

Galatians 5: “….As many as are led by the Spirit, they are the sons of God. “
Ask yourself, was that decision made by my emotion or the Spirit of God that I have invited to live inside of me?

If you do these things in His name,
You will be allowed to enter in, according to the Holy Scriptures.
