Coronavirus origin is it from God. An update

In Exodus, the second book of the Holy Bible there are 10 plagues that were sent to punish Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, for refusing to release from slavery the nation of Israel to worship their God, Jehovah.

None of those plague were viral in nature. The last of these ten plagues on the Egyptians was discriminatory in nature in simultaneously killing the first born of the Egyptians, after nine other warnings and plagues.

In the final book of the Holy Bible, Revelation, the New Testament anticipates another seven plagues poured out of seven bowls upon those left on the earth after this period time of grace has ended.

This is one of the keys to determine whether this virus points to the end of humanity.

Firstly, none of the plagues to come, in the book of Revelation is viral in nature.

Secondly, this means that Coronavirus did not come from God.

Thirdly, the Holy Bible points to a sequence of events that will occur before the end will come and these have not taken place yet. For example, those Christians who have received the Holy Spirit of God will be taken by God and caught up in the sky and reunited with God through His Son Jesus Christ.

Fourthly, and finally, Jesus Christ will return first to receive those like Him (Christians) before the plagues are released at a later date on those who reject the salvation made available to all humanity in the invitation embedded in the  Holy Bible.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 NKJV

The Comfort of Christ’s Coming

13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.
17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.
18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

Indeed let the world be comforted by these words above.

However, both God and the devil, Satan, can make the most of  events in accordance with their purpose.

What might be a purpose of God in 2020?

When God created the earth, He gave it to humanity to steward and it  would be reasonable to say that this virus is a symptom of how poorly we have done in living within reasonable boundaries with other occupants of the earth and the environment.  We could use this sad time to reflect on how we live with one another and make some fundamental changes for the better.

You could also use this time to satisfy yourself that God is real and that He loves each one of us and wants to be reconciled to each one of us.

Pray the Lords prayer now and be reconciled to Him while you have the ability to do so:

Matthew 6:9-13 Jesus Christ said:

9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.

Amen.
