The Holy Bible

The Holy Bible

Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

Who wrote The Holy Bible?

For all purposes, God wrote the Holy Bible.
If you believe that humanity evolved from primates, then indeed, we agree with your concerns about being mislead by the Bible and we would not recommend taking spiritual or moral advice from the ancestors of an ape or monkey.
If we consider that the univserse came out of intelligent design by a designer, then it is also safe to assume that this intelligent designer would create man with the ability to hear and write His words.
Otherwise you are implying that God is stupid.
So, neither do we recommend that you take any advice from someone that implies that God is stupid.

Can we trust the bible?

Can the Bible be trusted? Indeed it can.
When an author uses a copy typist, there is first a selection process. Those who do not have the qualifications, a good level of grammatical competence, a demonstrated interest in the voluntary work, the correct attitude and aptitude, and references are included under normal circumstances.
When the copy typist completes their work, it is then checked by the author to ensure that what is documented, is what was communicated; before it is issued publically, otherwise the author has failed to achieve the aim. Secondly, in this case it is also a matter of lives depending upon its accuracy.
You might want to look very closely at the lives of those who reject the validity of the bible and advise you to ignore it; and compare them to those who have faithfully and honestly adhered to its  encouragement in the New Testament; and then pray about whether The Holy Bible provides better advice than those who reject it.

Summary
40 witnesses from different times & circumstances confirm the truth

The Bible was “inspired” by God; as confirmed in 2 Timothy 3:16. This means that God divinely influenced the human authors of the Scriptures in such a way that what they wrote was the very Word of God. In the context of the Scriptures, the word “inspiration” simply means “God-breathed.” Inspiration means the Bible truly is the Word of God and this makes the Bible unique among all other books.

The extent of inspiration can be clearly seen in 2 Timothy 3:16, which says that: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training
